Building on the foundational understanding developed in Level 1, this course moves educators from awareness into application. We will explore how to translate an understanding of highly able learners into concrete, everyday classroom practice, from compacting curriculum for students who have already mastered content, to designing tasks with genuine depth and complexity, to knowing when and how acceleration serves a student well. We will also address the intersection of giftedness with learning differences and disabilities, helping you build multi-tiered systems of support for the full range of highly able learners in your classroom.
Suited for educators who have completed Level 1 or have equivalent prior experience in gifted education and are ready to deepen their practice.
