Running the vocabulary pilot
Students sort math words to their meanings, then practice the ones they miss. The tool builds the practice itself, so there is nothing to set up per student. This is the free pilot: progress saves on the device, and you receive what a student sends.

Open the student link. The first screen has a box for your email. Type it in before handing over the device, or tell students the address to type. That box is what sends results to you, and each teacher uses their own. Have students use the same computer each time, since progress saves on that device, not to an account.
2 What a student does
They enter their name and your email, choose Level 6/7, pick a thread, and sort the words across a few short rounds. They finish the thread, tap Build my playlist, and work the stops that appear. They tap Send results to my teacher before they stop. Finishing all of Level 6/7 unlocks Level 7/8.
3 What you receive
When a student taps send, you get an email showing, thread by thread, how many words they know and exactly which words they still need to practice. It reflects the moment they sent, so ask them to send at the end of a session. On the same device, the Teacher summary panel shows the same thing live, plus words flagged as shaky and their answers to the thinking prompts.
4 What to do with it
Read which words keep landing in the practice pile and which a student marks shaky, and read the thinking answers, since those show understanding rather than recognition. Then pull a small group, reteach a word in person, or hand a stronger student a richer task. The tool handles the drill-free repetition. You handle the teaching it cannot.
Say this to your class
It is not a test and there is no grade. Type your name and your teacher’s email, then pick Level 6/7. Sort the words to their meanings, and if you miss one, just try another. When you finish a thread, build your playlist and practice the words you missed. Press send before you stop. Use the same computer each time so your work is saved.
